Vision, Mission, Core Values, & Pledge

Our vision at Skipwith Elementary is that all students will know their value and will be productive society members by possessing the life skills they need to be successful.

Our mission is to guide students to reach their full potential and discover their own unique learning path to be successful community members. Our core values, encapsulated in the acronym "S.O.A.R," guide our daily interactions and decisions:

  • Safety First
  • Offer Kindness
  • Act Responsibly
  • Respect Everyone

These values are embodied in our Skipwith Pledge:

We, at Skipwith Elementary School, pledge to put safety first, offer kindness, act responsibly, respect everyone, and be hopeful about the future!
